Notice of By-Law Changes
The last revision of the KAACE by-laws was in April 2009. Over the last year, the current KAACE Board has reviewed and drafted changes to these by-laws. Many of the changes are organizational in nature – moving sections and articles to make this a more fluid document. The fiscal year/membership year terms have been moved to follow July-June (as opposed to the calendar year). The special interest group titles have been updated to include current adult education issues such as transition to post-secondary. And there is mention of group memberships that will be offered to KAACE (terms yet to be determined).
Please feel free to compare the documents and send any questions to Tonya Crum at tcrum@ket.org for reply prior to February 6, 2012. You can see the April 2009 version as well as the proposed 2012 version at www.kaace.org
